  Gary Delaney
Purist

Tuesday 18 Nov, 8.00pm
Gary is back on the road and thinks that most shows don’t contain enough jokes, so is trying single-handedly to redress the balance. So… expect jokes. Don’t expect narrative, themes or a voyage of self-discovery. A star of Mock The Week and a double Sony Award Winner, Gary is a razor-sharp one-liner comedian, widely regarded as being the most quotable comic around.

From BBC2’s Mock The Week and BBC Five Live’s 7 Day Saturday and a double Sony Award winner and Chortle Award nominee, this razor-sharp one-liner comedian, is widely regarded as being the most quotable comic around. As well as writing for GQ and the Daily Mirror he has also written for 8 out of 10 Cats, A League of Their Own, Live at the Apollo and many more.

  Kate Fox
Poet in Residence

Sunday 23 Nov, 7.30pm
Stand-up poet Kate Fox has been Poet in Residence for a half marathon, a BBC Radio 4 show, Glastonbury Festival... and a colostomy nurse’s conference. When did we start giving poets residencies, and where will it end? Kate shares some of her funniest poems and stories from her residencies which have seen her writing a poem while running 13 miles, and being very tempted to test out a catheter in the name of true poetic reportage. She also explores the idea of home and how words can make us fit in or stand out, in a funny, thought-provoking show from someone making her living on poetry’s frontline.
