Marcus Brigstocke
Je M’accuse - I Am Marcus

Tuesday 11 Nov, 8.00pm
Podium dancer, oil rig worker, food addict, musical theatre enthusiast, posh, eco-hypocrite, ex-Goth, muppet fan, award winning comedian and chief beverages operator at the Little Chef - screw politics, let’s talk about me.

“if you haven't seen him live, then you haven't seen him at his very best” The Mirror

  Mark Watson

Thursday 13 Nov, 7.30pm
Winner of five major comedy awards, 24-hour-show luminary and novelist. Mark (host of BBC's We Need Answers, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Mock The Week regular and star of cult Radio 4 series Mark Watson Makes The World Substantially Better) returns to the road. This is his darkest, most personal show yet. Luckily, also his funniest. Recommended age: 14+.

“the highest achiever the Edinburgh Festival has seen this decade. A huge comic presence” The Times

  The Comedy Store (Nov II)

Sunday 16 Nov, 7.30pm
It’s the first Sunday of the month, so it must be The Comedy Store. Gala’s regular meeting place for hilarious, comical and sometimes downright eccentric comedians. Our main theatre plays host to three of the best comics on the touring circuit, introduced by your MC for the evening. Rib-tickling guaranteed.

NB: contains strong language - over 16s only.

£11 (£9 conc), (£8 Students and Gala Friends)

Gary Delaney

Tuesday 18 Nov, 8.00pm
Following his 2013 critically acclaimed sell out Edinburgh show, Gary is back on the road and thinks that most shows don’t contain enough jokes and is trying single-handedly to redress the balance. So… Expect: Jokes. Don’t Expect: narrative, themes or a voyage of self-discovery.

From BBC2’s Mock The Week and BBC Five Live’s 7 Day Saturday and a double Sony Award winner and Chortle Award nominee, this razor-sharp one-liner comedian, is widely regarded as being the most quotable comic around. As well as writing for GQ and the Daily Mirror he has also written for 8 out of 10 Cats, A League of Their Own, Live at the Apollo and many more.

“I laughed and I laughed and I laughed… a master craftsman” The Times

£14 (£12 conc)

From the dead-pan to the dead funny, sit back with a beer and enjoy our regular residency from Funny Bones.
