Count Arthur Strong
Somebody Up There Licks Me

Tuesday 17 March, 8.00pm
Fresh from donkey’s years on his award winning BBC Radio 4 series and the huge success of his BBC2 show, Arthur will be doing all sorts of wonderful things for you to sit there staring at, as you quietly suck your Maltesers and don’t get up to go to the toilet… applauding loudly at the appropriate moments. You’ll laugh, cry and the other one. Here’s a personal message from the man himself: ‘if you only buy one ticket for something this year, buy a ticket for this one twice, and bring a friend. I promise you, you won’t regret it. And if you do there must be something wrong with you. No refunds’.

£17.50 (£15.50 conc)

Using the very best performers on the circuit, each month they create a line-up especially for the audiences of Durham. So if you fancy a cracking evening of laughter, come and join the fun. Contains strong language, recommended age 16+.

Jo Caulfield
Uninformed Opinions

Thursday 23 April, 8.00pm
Everyone has an opinion… unfortunately. This is the show for anyone who has ever wanted to scream ‘shut up – you don’t know what you’re talking about’. Expect razor-sharp observations and scandalous one-liners as Jo shares her opinions on everything from women who always pick the wrong partner to men who continually quote gangster films. She confesses to a romantic break that almost ended in divorce, re-enacts the world’s worst birthday party and explains why her husband could never be a serial killer.
