Steeped in Americana and based around the banjo duo of Deborah Arnott and Clare-Louise Neilson, Blueflint subtly intertwine the three-finger picking and clawhammer style of banjo tradition to accompany striking vocals and harmonies on a set of original songs. Emily Maguire The Studio Sessions

Renowned for her thought-provoking lyrics and supremely expressive vocals, Emily's third album, Believer, won critical acclaim from Maverick Magazine, Uncut, Rock 'n' Reel and The Mirror among others. The album includes her song Woke Up which was used by Greenpeace for their global climate change campaign. Classically trained on cello and piano, Emily's songs have been regularly played on Radio 2 and she has toured with Don McLean, Eric Bibb, Roddy Frame and The Blue Nile.
